Experimenting with a Fujifilm IS-1 bridge camera, this shot is of the green just behind the high street in Godalming, Surrey, complete with bandstand.
This shot of the pass of Glencoe, taken from the visitor centre, is made from two separate digital shots. The play of light on the mountains was just right. Taken with a FujFilm IS-Pro through a blue filter.
I've been experimenting with infrared shots up into the trees and this is one of the best so far. The trees are in the garden of a house I used to live in.
Taken with a Sony DSC F-828 camera in 'Night Shot' mode with strong ND filtering.
Infrared flash with a FujiFilm IS-1. These were red roses, but infrared completely washes that out to make them look white. Look closely and you can see the veins in the petals.
The Eglise de Cabanac, near Puy-l'Evêque in SW France, is all that remains of the lost town of Orgeuil. This digital infrared photograph makes the church in its surrounding wall look as if it's floating on a sea of white grass.
Knaresborough Castle is a ruined fortress overlooking the River Nidd in the town of Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. This vantage point gives a magnificent view of the railway viaduct crossing the river. Taken with a FujiFilm IS-Pro camera through a blue filter.
The view from a balcony in what I still think of as the Shell Building (now Pearson's HQ) looking down-river. You can see the London Eye on the left and the Palace of Westminster on the right. Rumour has it that Churchill used to stand on this balcony during air raids, smoking a cigar and watching the falling incendiary bombs.

This iron cross in Brookwood Cemetary shows how foliage brightens up in infrared light. In the same shot in visible light the cross is much less distinct. Brookwood also has a military cemetary nearby and I believe that the old soldiers of the Chelsea Hospital (the Chelsea Pensioners of the distinctive red coats) never die ... they 'go to Brookwood' instead.
