Christchurch, Dorset. A popular spot for fishing, from this boat, which seems to be permanently moored here. Christchurch Castle is on the far bank. This was taken from Castle Street Bridge using a Sony digital camera using Night Shot with a strong ND filter.
The amazing Millau Viaduct as seen from a nearby village. The viaduct carries the A75 Autoroute across the Tarn gorge. It was designed by a team led by engineer Michel Virlogeux and English architect Norman Foster and is the tallest bridge in the world at 336.4 metres. This image was taken with a FujiFilm camera and a yellow filter. This, with some post-processing, emulates the false colour of the infrared Ektachrome film.

In drier weather part of ithe Manifold runs underground but this section, near Ilam Hall, flows all year. This shot was taken with a Canon compact camera which had its infrared blocking filter replaced with one with a roll-off around 720 nm. The colours have been modified by inverting the A and B colour components.
