Elektra (Germany) SMLP 009 (Stereo)
Released: 1968
Side 1
Side 2
A sampler released only in German-speaking territories by Elektra's licensee there, Metronome. This was followed up by Off 2, AKA Hallucinations, which was issued as a picture disc. Packaged in an illustrated booklet sleeve.
Aquarius is mis-spelled Acquarius on both the sleeve and label.

Just called Psychedelic on the cover but Psychedelic/Underground on the labels. A record club release for the German-speaking market.
Elektra (Germany) H 876/5 (Stereo)
Released: 1969
Side 1
Side 2
A slight confusion over the title as while the sleeve calls it underground & psychedelic (lower case), the label calls it PSYCHEDELIC/UNDERGROUND (upper case, as is usual with these labels). Cover art is by Peter Gäthke.
This disc seems to have been produced for the Deutscher Schallplattenclub in Stuttgart rather than for general release. The catalogue numbers put this in between the two OFF samplers and the sleeve suggests that there was a mono version but I haven't found a trace of it.
The version of Light My Fire here is the edited one used for the single. Touch Me is titled Touche Me on the sleeve.
Metronome H 895/5 (Stereo)
Released: 1969
Side 1
Side 2
The second OFF sampler from Metronome in Germany and also the second disc with Psychedelic Underground in the design. There are several versions of this, on the Metronome label and from the Deutscher Schallplattenclub in Stuttgart. Some versions are picture discs (as shown) which could well be the first example of such a thing, as this predates the Curved Air album. Some copies include a huge poster.
As this was for German-speaking markets I had expected they would include the unexpurgated version of Kick Out the Jams, but they used the bowdlerised one.
Elektra (Netherlands) HJE 155 (Stereo)
Released: 1969

Side 2
A sampler put together for the Dutch market. I had thought they would use the unexpurgated version of Kick Out the Jams, but they used the bowdlerised one. David Peel's Up Against the Wall is, however, completely unexpurgated.
There was a club version of this disc with a different sleeve, and confusingly entitled Elektrifying, issued on the SR International label. Discogs has the discs confused but one of the labels is shown and it includes the text HJW 155.

One of two French samplers issued by Disques Vogue, Elektra's French licensee, but badged as Elektra releases. The two volumes have sequential catalogue numbers, which suggests they were issued together.

ISB is, of course, The Incredible String Band.
