Elektra FM 201 (CD)
Released: 2000
CD: Only available with the paperback (second) edition of 'Follow the Music' and described in the insert as 'A commemorative sampler of Elektra's Pre-rock Era'. Some of these tracks have been dubbed from discs.
Elektra/Rhino EUKS 263 (CD)
Released: October 2006
A promotional CD for the massively comprehensive 'Forever Changing' boxed set of CDs. A cheeky but inspired piece of fandom was to give it the next EUKS number in the sequence.
According to the sleeve the recordings on the CD (referred to as 'this artyfact') were 'created prior to the mastering process' which, I assume, means that this disc was produced in advance of the careful retransferring of the tracks for the box set itself and may therefore not be of the same quality.
'East-West' is not listed on the packaging.

Released: November 2006
Disc 1
Disc 2
Disc 3
Disc 4
Disc 5
A 5CD boxed set, available in both deluxe and very deluxe packages with the latter including memorabilia and a book on Elektra's art work. This set was mainly intended for the UK market and, as a result, slightly misses Elektra's full eclecticism. But only slightly.
Elektra/Mojo Mojo 204 (CD)
Released: November 2010
CD supplied free with the November 2010 edition of Mojo magazine to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the label's founding.
Elektra/Rhino R2 73505 (CD)
Released: 1995
Production: Paul Rothchild
Engineering: Dan Rothchild
Recorded: Mastertone Studios, New York
There were three attempts to record the first Butterfield album. This was the first time Elektra had tried their hand at loud electric music and the first set of recordings got as far as finished product before Paul Rothchild persuaded Jac Holzman to give him another go. Some of the tracks appeared on the What's Shakin' disc (EKL 4002) but it wasn't until this CD was released that the originals all came out. It seems that on reflection it wasn't that the session was bad, just raw.
Collectors Choice/Rhino OPCD 7742 (CD)
Released: 2005
Production: Gordon Anderson
This CD contains an assortment of tracks that appeared on singles but not on albums (at least initially). Saying Volume 1 suggests there ought to be more but I haven't seen any. There should be!
Grapefruit WCRSE 6035 (CD)
Released: 2016
Production: Clive Selwood and Leviathan
Side 1 (LP)
Side 2 (LP)
CD of material recorded in 1969. Although Leviathan were signed to Elektra for the world apparently their proposed album wasn't considered good enough. There were three singles issued in the UK and one in the US and the material was well received by the public who heard it. An acetate exists and that gives us the planned track listing, represented by the second list above.
The material was released on a three-sided album in 2012 with a different sleeve and different order.
One Day Music DAY2CD252 (CD)
Released: 2014
Disc 1
Disc 2
This is a nice compilation of Elektra tracks dating up to around 1962 (so probably out-of-copyright recordings). I think the transfers, or at least some of them, have been done from discs but the quality is generally excellent. There are a few artists who didn't record albums for Elektra but who appeared on discs such as 'Our Singing Heritage Volume One'.
HankyPanky Records / Mapache Records HPR-068/MAPA0021 (Stereo)
Released: June 2023
Side 1
Side 2
This is substantially the album that had initially been allocated catalogue number EKS 74010, which became 'The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion' by the Incredible String Band. A couple of tracks are omitted (likely named 'Tell Me What It’s Like When You Get Back' and 'Anything You Find On The Floor Is Yours') and David's three tracks from the Singer Songwriter Project are added (which he recorded as David Cohen).
The band toured with David after the release of his eponymous Elektra album in 1966 and recorded this album which moved to Reprise with David but wasn't ever planned for release. It has been something of a ghost until this 2023 release.
This LP was issued in a limited run by a small Spanish label with copious notes by Mark Brend (and thanks to Mark for the information).
